Introduction to Excel for the CPA (4 Hours)

Overview: 

Introduction to Excel for the CPA is specifically designed to introduce CPAs and their staff to the power and capabilities of Microsoft Excel. Examples will address the capabilities used by CPAs in their normal analyzing, reviewing and reporting of client information. This seminar assumes that the participant has little or no knowledge of Excel.

Objective: 

To provide CPAs and other financial professionals with an introduction to Microsoft Excel.

  • Understanding workbooks, spreadsheets and tabs and referencing them all in formulas
  • Building formulas: absolute vs. relative, copying and pasting
  • Sorting and filtering
  • Building your first graphs
