Liza Prossnitz, MBA, CPA, is currently a Director in BDO Seidman's National SEC Department, where she reviews SEC filings, writes and teaches. Prior to joining BDO, she wrote the SEC portion of the Accounting Research Manager database and CCH's SEC Disclosure Checklists, a book that outlines financial statement, MD&A and SOX disclosure requirements. Ms. Prossnitz has over 29 years of accounting experience and holds an MBA in Accounting from Columbia University.
